Welcome to a website  dedicated to EL panel repair and conversions.

 

We repair and completely refurbish EL Panels from Planar, Sharp and Finlux. Panels like the rare EL8358MS, El6400.200-U series, EL640.480-AM1 and on the Sharp side LJ640U32, LJ640U34, LJ640U35, LJ64ZU51, LJ64ZU52, LJ512U25 etc.  We manufacture converter kits so that we can use other displays in the place of Sharp EL displays. We also perform conversions from the EL8358MS used in the Cincinati Milacron CAMAC VEL  and Cincinatti Milacron CAMAC XTL controller to a screen we have modified.  

 

Apart from repairing these EL panels we also have a Preventive & Predictive Service that we offer if you have 5 or more screens. There is one requirement when using this service. If your screen does not power up and reveal text or graphics then the service will be deemed a repair and will be charged accordingly.

Capetronics C640U32 C640U34 replaces the Sharp LJ640U32 LJ640U34 displays

 

We have replaced many Engel Injection Molding Machine displays that have the EC88 Controller. See above picture. ES700-200 with the EC88 controller. Our displays are cheaper, Factory NEW with a 1 year warranty, use EL technology, draw less current, have protection against shorts and other over current issues. We also have visual indication of the 5 volt and 12 volt supplies.

 

EL Panels- Predictive and Preventive maintenance.

 

 

If you have machines that use the Sharp flat panels you know all about downtime. These EL displays are robust but after 10 or more years of use they do start to fail and that's where we come in. We will get you up and running in no time. We do offer a 72 hour turnaround for certain displays. If your display is cracked we can possibly get you up and running with a converter PCB, a CNC machined bezel and Sharp/Planar display. Of course we can't retro fit all displays and currently we have concentrated on 640X400, 640X480 and 640X200 resolution displays.

 

 

Preventive and Predictive Maintenance with digital hour meter on display.  

We have the new Capetronics C640U32 and C640U34 with a digital hour meter. This is for factories that have predictive and preventive manitenance programs. At 10000 hours of operation we will replace all heat and time sensitive electronic components. We will send out a loaner C640U32 or C640U34 display so that there is less than 10 minutes of down time. This is an extra cost to the customer  but for the small fee is a great bonus. Of course the other benifit is that you are not running a "Run to Failure Maintenance Program" which is an expensive maintenance program and there is a huge amount of down time and lost production.
